Jesus Christ is Enough with Ginger DeVries

Ginger DeVries is back on the podcast this week with a good chat about how God is enough and He is our portion. Without God, we are not enough but with God, He is enough and so we are enough because God now lives in us and He can do anything. Here are some scriptures Ginger shared, and I pray they encourage you!

These scriptures remind me how we need Jesus and how broken we are. This conversation was a deep, rich conversation for me and my walk with God, reminding me how I need Him. We pray this episode is an encouragement to you to have a relationship with Jesus or a deeper relationship with Jesus if you are already saved! We can run to Him no matter where we are. We can seek Him with our whole hearts and we can change our ways to commit our actions to Him if we are willing and want to be obedient! I learned so much from what God is doing in Ginger! Thank you Ginger for your time and for sharing what God has on your heart!

Faith Over Fear with Brittaney Sottile-Roe

Senior Accountant for Florida Polytechnic University, mom of two sweet girls, and wife, Brittaney Sottile-Roe is on the podcast this week! Brittaney shared how when she has fear, her faith in God helps her through bad times. She shared how her car had gotten broken into and how Exodus 14:13 brought her so much peace in a moment of heartbreak.

Free Workbook: How to Broadcast His Love

God made this episode happen today!! God planted the seeds through my community of sisters in Christ to do this workbook for you. My friend Christina Leavenworth, actually our first guest on the podcast back in early 2020, sparked the idea when she encouraged me to write out my goals and bucket list dreams through worksheets she got at a real estate conference in Austin, TX.
I loved doing that exercise so much that I thought it would be fun to make it Christian and show you where scripture encourages you to "write the vision" (see Habakkuk 2:2-3).

The final part will encourage you to Take Action!
There are several times throughout the workbook encouraging you to pray and communicate with God, asking Him what He wants you to do.
Another sister in Christ, Dr. Patty Sadallah who is an author and hosts the Experience Jesus Podcast on PodBean (https://pattyej.podbean.com) encouraged me in writing this to focus on Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) which tells us, “For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’” She told me how in this verse God tells us He already has plans for us. 
I read this workbook to my therapist, Sarah Murcko, and she recommended writing that it’s important to “ask God to align your desires with the plans He has for you.” Wow! How powerful!
We pray you leave this workbook, after you complete it, feeling comfortable communicating with God in prayer to ask God to align your desires with His plans for your life. Remember, He has plans for you!

Our prayer is that you see these spreadsheets, guests, and time with God as an encouragement in your walk with Christ, to strengthen your relationship with Him, and to give you comfort if you feel weary, sad, or anxious. God's got you and He has your future. Do you trust Him with your life? I hope so and if not, I pray this workbook is a great introduction to who He is and that He loves you deeply. God wants to spend time with you and He wants to talk with you. We know from Romans 8:28: "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” I don't want this to be just words. God is good and His love endures forever. He loves you! When you become a Christian who loves God, Romans 8:28 tells us then you have been called, which as Pastor Randy talks about means your identity is in Christ and your life has meaning and purpose in Christ Jesus! I am not perfect, but thank God I have been saved by His grace! Have you? The Lord knows His plans for you. Let’s surrender to His will and ways. Let’s do this!

Togetherness with Jamie Bateman

Wow! This podcast was very humbling to me. The scriptures that our guest this week, Jamie Bateman said are encouraging her in this season are from Ephesians 3:14-19 NIV. She read how this passage talks about kneeling "in prayer to the Father and praying out of His glorious riches that he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being" (NIV). WOW! To think about HIS POWER being in you through His Spirit! This is great news!
I think you will learn more about this part of the passage from The Message Translation which says: "...I ask him to strengthen you by his Spirit—not a brute strength but a glorious inner strength—that Christ will live in you as you open the door and invite him in..." (from Ephesians 3:14-19 MSG).
Will you invite Him in?
Jamie read this verse over our guests and she read the entire passage changing you's to I's to make it more personal. Here is how she read it from the NIV translation: 
14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family[a] in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you (she said "me") with power through his Spirit in your (she said "my") inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your ("my") hearts through faith. And I pray that you (I), being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
