Tracy Purdy is a wife, mom of four, and lover of Jesus... She is also willing and obedient to share her testimony with us and sisters... THIS IS FOR YOU. God is for you... He is not against you and there is FREEDOM found in Christ Jesus. I pray you know this in your heart and I pray you feel a big hug from your Jesus-loving sisters in Pensacola. We love the Lord and how He has shown us to seek Him in the hard things of life, but when He responds with the NEW THING, we pray you are obedient to do what He has called you to do. Tracy is so kind to share how God has been faithful to her through having and raising her children. I am so thankful for Tracy and I pray you are also encouraged by her testimony to go out and broadcast God's love.

Child Hope with Risa Reeves

Risa Reeves is a wife and mother of three. She works part-time at an organization called, "Haiti One By One" which works to empower students to be leaders and citizens who inspire a generation of hope. Risa also helps her husband in ministry with an organization called, "Child Hope." They began their work with this organization back in 2010. In 2012, the Reeves family moved to Haiti to work alongside Child Hope. Risa has worked with World Vision by coordinating the very first Movement Day, in Port Au Prince. In 2016, Risa and her husband Spencer rejoined the Child Hope team as the Haiti Directors and began leading the transition to family-based care. A couple of years ago, their family moved to Florida where they are still with Child Hope and other ministries that love and work with Haiti.

Loved hearing how the Holy Spirit showed up for her through a child who gave her the exact money she needed for her bus trip. That amount was exactly what she needed to pay the bus driver. Only God! Kristeen Kidd runs the small groups at Echo Life Church in Pensacola, Florida and she’s also one of my dear friends in town. This week is more of a how-to episode to help you start a small group in your community for His glory. Kristeen and I recorded this video in our new studio named after my Dad who passed in January of this year. We call the studio where we record the podcast, "Scotto Albritton Studios."
If you’ve been wanting to start a small group but don’t know-how, we hope this is a good go-to guide to get you started. I love how Kristeen talks about the importance of the content you select for the study. You have been SENT with Heather Holleman

Would you believe me if I told you, you have been sent here on earth for a God-given purpose? You have! Jesus tells us He was sent in Luke 4:43 NIV after Jesus had healed many people, and they knew He was the Son of God Jesus said -- "...I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent."
Like Jesus, we too have been sent to share the good news of Jesus.
Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” John 20:21 NIV
I learned more about this frame of mind (being sent on purpose by Jesus, for Jesus) when I read a book called "Sent" written by our guest this week, Heather Holleman, and her husband, Ashley. The book talked about living a life that invites others to Jesus. 
Heather is a professor at Penn State and shared with us that she feels called to her neighborhood, family, and work. She said, "I believe it is no accident where you work, where your house is, what your career is, who your children are socializing with -- It makes life such a supernatural adventure."
