God‘s Perspective on Eating, Drinking and Being Merry With Dr. Patty Sadallah
Thursday Feb 10, 2022
Thursday Feb 10, 2022
This podcast is a repost from another podcast called, "Experience Jesus with Dr. Patty Sadallah." This is a bonus episode for us just to introduce you to Dr. Patty Sadallah's podcast. I love Dr. Patty, so when she asked us to put this recorded chat on Broadcast His Love, I was more than happy to post it. She recorded, hosted and edited this episode. Listen to the original episode on her page, here: https://pattyej.podbean.com/e/god-s-perspective-on-eating-drinking-and-being-merry-with-ricki-vann-stewart/
Here is this episode's description from her Podbean website:
"Dr. Patty and Ricki Vann Stewart, podcaster for Broadcast His Love, have a lively discussion about what the Bible and Jesus Himself have to say about eating, drinking, and being merry. God is the gift giver and loves to bless His children with the enjoyments of life. The Bible warns about overindulgence, but how do you know the right balance of enjoying the gifts from the Gift Giver and going too far? They discuss the Kingdom emotion of joy and how to find it. Both ladies tell some personal stories and share some laughs in the process. Jesus takes you on an adventure to show you the depths of His joy for you and how you can tap into His joy in your encounter experience with Him."
Thank you Dr. Patty for your time to educate me and whoever listening to this on eating, drinking, and being merry. I am very thankful for your friendship!

“Even Though” with Amberlee Rogers
Tuesday Feb 08, 2022
Tuesday Feb 08, 2022
Amberlee Rogers is a wife and mom of three children down in central Florida. She is also the Academic Coach at Lakeview Christian School in Lake Placid. Her school is Kindergarten to 8th grade. I love Amberlee and I know you will too! She’s a light for Jesus. She doesn’t judge anyone and she loves people SO well! I pray you’re drawn closer to Jesus in this conversation to then use your position, no matter what it is, to broadcast God’s love!
The verses helping Amberlee in this season come from Habakkuk 3:17-18 NIV:
"Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior."
Then she challenged us to declare whatever darkness we are walking through in this season and pray this scripture out loud to Jesus: "Even though _____, I will trust in the Lord. I will be joyful in God my Savior."
Thank you, Amberlee for coming on the podcast, reading one of Louie Giglio’s books (there’s a link to it below), and then and challenging us with this scripture from Habakkuk like he does in this book below!

Worshipping Jesus with Jerica Moore
Tuesday Jan 04, 2022
Tuesday Jan 04, 2022
Jerica Moore, also known from our childhood as J-Rock joins us on the podcast this week! She is going to school to be a Registered Dietician and she is also the lead worship pastor at her church in Johnson City, Tennessee called Redeemer Community Church. I love Jerica and you will too! She has some beautiful insight on surrendering all to Jesus. I also loved when she talked about how she was getting filled up by the Holy Spirit in her small group. The last item I wanted to mention here to give you a little glimpse of our chat was how she broke down how we should look at diet and exercise. It was powerful, it was real and it was JUST what I needed to hear. Love you J-Rock. I pray for the person listening that you are drawn closer to Christ from this conversation. xoxo

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! + GranMarty
Tuesday Dec 28, 2021
Tuesday Dec 28, 2021
Our guest on the last week of 2021 is the most beautiful woman inside and out! My grandmother is on the podcast this week! We call her "GranMarty" and you can too! She would absolutely love it if you called her GranMarty and told her you listened to her story. She was excited to do this for you! This episode is a rerun of her episode that first ran in 2020. From that conversation, I have had several people tell me they listened to her like she was their grandmother, which is just beautiful to me. I am so thankful for those sweet words. I know that is God through my GranMarty that gave the listener those good feelings. When I told my grandmother some of the positive feedback we were getting on her episode, she cried with gratitude! Please know as you listen to this episode, GranMarty is so grateful for you and for listening to her story. She doesn't have social media so if you wanted to tell her you'd probably have to pass by her at church or in the grocery store! Haha! My GranMarty has been through lots of ups and downs. She loved the Lord and I can tell you right now, even if she doesn't know you... She loves you too! So please enjoy this rerun of our chat. My GranMarty has always been a delight to our family, friends, and her former co-workers. So incredibly grateful she sat down with us in 2020 to walk through her past, tell her story and share some of her life lessons.

Tuesday Dec 21, 2021
Tuesday Dec 21, 2021
This episode was first aired in June of this year. This conversation with Kassie is one of our most downloaded episodes. I am taking some time off to be with family for the holidays. Enjoy this conversation with my friend Kassie Perry who is the owner, operator, and founder of The Perry Co. Boutique in Lake Placid, Florida.
Kassie is so encouraging! In this chat, she tells us how before her store came to mind, she prayed for God's will for her life. While she was praying for God's will, she said she loved her job at the time but she was praying specifically for God's will. She was praying to do something that would glorify Him, and to do kingdom work. What encouragement!
Kassie talked a lot about seeking God's kingdom first and making that a priority before starting something new.
She also said before the boutique opened, she and her family got together in the store and prayed, asking God for His presence to be in the store.
Thank you Kassie for this encouragement to seek God first. You are such an encouragement to me!!
She also talked about working for the Lord. She recommends while working to have a mindset that you are helping others while working for the Lord. Amen sister! This can be applied in all things! Great stuff.
God's word asks us to look to the interests of others (Philippians 2:4) ... so while we are working let's be helpful! She also encourages us to do what we do for Jesus! Colossians 3:23 in the New Life Version (NLV) version reads: "Whatever work you do, do it with all your heart. Do it for the Lord and not for men."
What a great challenge today. Thank you for listening and please follow Kassie over on Instagram and Facebook and tell her how awesome she is (haha!) !!
