Knowing God with Ines Manship
Tuesday Apr 27, 2021
Tuesday Apr 27, 2021
In this conversation with my dear friend, Ines Manship, she talks about the importance of knowing God. Ines tells us about a couple of hard times she has gone through and how God was with her all along. He was there with her through and through. She also breaks down the importance of having a relationship with God and what that looks like in her life. Very encouraging!
Another cool thing about Ines is that she and her husband have remodeled several homes by themselves. She tells us how those remodels are a lot like our walk with Christ. Ines said, "He sees what we can be. He sees the beauty in us."
The scripture Ines shares that is helping her out in this season is Colossians 3:10 NIV which says -- "and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator."

Bespoke Home & Gatherings with Kelli Caffey and Lize-Mari Landis
Tuesday Apr 20, 2021
Tuesday Apr 20, 2021
Love this week! There is so much I could say here about these two amazing guests but I am going to let the love they have for God through this podcast tell you who they are and what they are up to for the Lord and for His glory. So just push play and enjoy this conversation with my two new friends!
But I do want to tell you all this... Jesus wants to use your gifts and talents that He gave you for His good. And, this conversation is a reminder to me that even when we think what we are making and creating is small... If it is for the Lord... It can make a bigger impact than we could ever imagine! God is in the soul shaping business for His glory and what He can do is more than we could ever imagine. This interview reminded me that God can be working in and on something for His good and our good even when we forget His impact and power. I love how the Lord is using these women and I hope you all connect with them and tell them on their pages how their story has impacted you today, for the Lord. Thanks for listening... Truly grateful for your time.

Broadcasting God's Love to our Children with Julia Dancaescu
Tuesday Apr 13, 2021
Tuesday Apr 13, 2021
Julia Dancaescu is a mom of twins and she is also a former teacher. I love her!! You will too!!
In this interview, she gives parents advice on how to teach their children to seek God by keeping an "open dialectic with God" in front of their children. She gives us some practical tips on how to do that by thanking God, praising God, and also voicing our concerns to God in front of our children.
Towards the end of the chat, she encourages those who are looking for 'their calling' to seek God and that "your purpose could be right in front of you." I love that part because this world does love to distract us from God who gives us life more abundantly.
The scriptures Julia shares that are helping her in this season comes from Ephesians 4:1-3 which says -- "As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace."
Thank you Julia for your time and for sharing what God has on your heart!

Three Things God Requires of You Today
Tuesday Mar 30, 2021
Tuesday Mar 30, 2021
This week we are talking about a Bible verse that keeps life simple. It tells us that God requires us to do three things. “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” Micah 6:8 ESV
I was reminded of this verse one day at work when a retired pastor told me all God wanted me to do was three things. Friends, I was leaning into whatever this nice man was about to tell me.
He held up his hand and said to do these three things and things will be better for everyone. “If our country would just do this we would be in a lot better shape,” he said. Holding up three fingers he said to “God wants us to act justly. Be honest. Do what is fair & right.” He said for the second thing God requires us to do is to “Love mercy. Don’t worry about what’s in your head. We need to focus on our hearts. God is looking at our heart.” And he said for the third thing God requires us to do is to “Walk humbly. God doesn’t look at our skin, He looks at our heart. God came to us from a lowly position. We are to do the same.”
Then he showed me his tai chi moves which were awesome. I tried them out and laughed the entire time. It was so fun!
We continued to laugh together as a group came together to try to learn his tai chi moves. He was a great teacher, very patient! But when we left the conversation, he said to me quietly the verse we talked about was from “Micah 6:8.”
God used that man to speak to me. I pray this scripture that I believe God put on His heart will also speak to you.
Here's the NIV version of this scripture, Micah 6:8 -- "He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."

Choosing Jesus in a Trial with Kim Scott
Tuesday Mar 23, 2021
Tuesday Mar 23, 2021
No one is perfect. We all sin and fall short of the glory of God. But what do we do when we have troubles and trials that change everything? Do we turn to Jesus? Do we choose Jesus in our darkest hour?
The Bible says we will have troubles. “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 NIV
This week's guest, Kim Scott, encourages us to Jesus telling us how a tragedy in her life drew her to Jesus. From that trial, Kim has a new, energized boost to want to share His love with others, using platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
Thank you Kim for your time and for sharing what God has on your heart!
