Dr. Allie Simmons is a pediatric dentist in Pensacola, Florida with her husband Dr. Neil Simmons. Dr. Allie sits down to tell us her story, share some need to know info for moms and she gives us an update on how their practice is doing facing this pandemic.
We met Allie at her office to do this interview (before the COVID-19 pandemic) and I am so glad we did!

Florida Nurse Travels to NYC to Help COVID-19 Patients

Cristy Allen is one of those people you meet and know she is confident in Jesus. She's a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and she has an extra certification in critical care nursing, making Christy a Critical Care Registered Nurse.
This spring, when she heard about the need for skilled nurses in larger cities across America, she called her friend who is a traveling nurse. Christy asked her friend if her company needed help and that friend got her in touch with the right people.
When Christy got the job as a traveling nurse in the New York City area, she had to resign from her job in Pensacola, Florida and head for the big apple. At the hospital she has been assigned to in New York, she works with those in critical care battling COVID-19.
Through Christy's story, you will hear how God has been with her every step of the way.

Mignon Francois Bakes Cupcakes and Loves Jesus

Mignon Francois is famous nationwide as a baker who makes amazing cupcakes. But more importantly, she will tell you, she works daily to be used by God in her work. She is a boss, a mom, a baker, an encourager and a teacher of God's word all while she makes delicious, fluffy cupcakes with sprinkles!
Her business is successful (look her up online for her work with Dave Ramsey) but she gives God all the glory.
I am super thankful for Mignon's time to share her story and what she is currently walking through. Times are not easy but she chooses joy.
Earlier this spring, her Nashville business got hit by a tornado and now both of her businesses are facing the worldwide pandemic from the coronavirus. Her business in New Orleans is closed for the time being because of how the virus is impacting that area. 
Mignon's story of perseverance from her past and from what she is walking through now is enlightening. The way she is seeking God in this time is encouraging!

Small Businesses and Coronavirus

This is a special podcast because we are in a unique season with this Coronavirus. It seems like there are new developments with this virus every day. Developments that continue to encourage us to stay indoors and stay a safe distance away from others. In the mix of all of this concern and change, small businesses, like many others are suffering. In this podcast, we talk to a couple of my friends who have small businesses. They tell us about how God is helping them through this tough season and... They encourage us!! I was not expecting to be fed by those who are facing a hard time... But wait until you hear what they have to say!!
First, we have a conversation with my friend Nan who has a bed and breakfast in Gainesville, Florida. Then, we will hear from an artist, a personal trainer and a photographer. My friend who is a photographer tells us that she is offering a free service for small business owners who need pictures of their products, to then sell those products online. She does ask that you pay the shipping costs to get your products to her to photograph. We have more information on what this rockstar photographer is doing to help small businesses in this podcast.
