How to Do a Vision Board

Hey friends! Vision boards are something I encourage my Christian friends to do. In this fall season, before the new year, I'd like to encourage you all to start one as well. Please listen to this episode all the way through. God has plans for you. My really good friend, Jenifer Parnell first encouraged me to do a vision board and then I watched a Steve Harvey video explaining Habbukuk 2:2-3 and it changed my life for the best. That was five years ago!! Now over the years -- I want to share with you what God has shown me over the years. God bless you!

Jesus Christ is Enough with Ginger DeVries

This is a rerun from July 2022! Ginger DeVries is back on the podcast this week with a good chat about how God is enough and He is our portion. Without God, we are not enough but with God, He is enough and so we are enough because God now lives in us and He can do anything. Here are some scriptures Ginger shared, and I pray they encourage you!

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. JOHN 3:16 NIV
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. ROMANS 6:23 NIV
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, ROMANS 3:23 NIV
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10 NIV
These scriptures remind me how we need Jesus and how broken we are. This conversation was a deep, rich conversation for me and my walk with God, reminding me how I need Him. We pray this episode is an encouragement to you to have a relationship with Jesus or a deeper relationship with Jesus if you are already saved! We can run to Him no matter where we are. We can seek Him with our whole hearts and we can change our ways to commit our actions to Him if we are willing and want to be obedient! I learned so much from what God is doing in Ginger! Life Connected by the Vine with Carri Keigley

Hannah Williams with Pensacola Candle Co

This week, we are talking with the owner and operator of the Pensacola Candle Company, Hannah Williams. Love her!!! Her candles smell amazing. 
Hannah tells us she started this business at the pandemic's peak in 2020. She said she was working in banking and felt pulled by God to start this local business where she now goes to local markets and sells her candles, and even some local stores sell her candles for her! I loved meeting Hannah and am so grateful for her new friendship; we pray this conversation draws you closer to Christ.

This week was SO fun with our guest, Kelsey Kemp! Kelsey is such a great encouragement to believers who are praying for a great job that pays them to do what they have been called to do by the LORD. To me, this chat was such a great confidence boost for believers in Jesus!

Christians and Mental Health with Licensed Mental Health Counselor Leah Taylor

This week we talk about some DEEP stuff with return guest -- Leah Taylor who is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida offering Telehealth to Florida residents. She is also an Associate Licensed Counselor with a provisional license in Alabama and working towards her professional licensure, there. Her office is located in Birmingham, AL but she can also chat virtually. 
So grateful for Leah who talks about some hard things to talk about in the Christian walk (in my opinion)... Relating to mental health and Christians. I loved learning more about Leah's approach as a Counselor who puts her faith first when the person she is counseling allows it. 
We cover a lot in this episode and I pray in whatever was said -- it draws you closer to Jesus to broadcast His love!!

Creation Speaks with Outdoorsman Shawn Brown

This week surprised me!! I knew our guest Shawn Brown was an outdoorsman but I didn't know HOW MUCH SCRIPTURE he had memorized!!!!! What a blessing to hear his testimony of how he got into windsurfing and also how he first fell in love with scripture... Through a friend sharing a gift with him. Shawn and his wife Lindy have their own business called Outdoor Gulf Coast where they teach windsurfing, do surf lessons and they also do dolphin cruises! This family is so fun!
To me, Shawn's story is so beautiful because he has taken all of the things he loves to do and that he has been gifted by God to do to share with others!!
