Business Boutique 2021 Recap!
Tuesday Nov 10, 2020
Tuesday Nov 10, 2020
Business Boutique is an awesome women's conference in Nashville that I highly recommend! This year, I wasn't able to go but my friend (and my neighbor's friend) Kylie Amanda did go and she tells us her favorite parts of what she learned.
No matter your position in work, life, whatever... Let's get motivated and use our gifts for Jesus!
Thanks, Kylie for the info!
Connect with Kylie on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/stress_less_nutritionist/
Please show her some love with a follow, comment, and share!
In the podcast, she shares her favorite verse that is helping her in this season and she tells us about how Luke 12:2-3 has played an impact.
"The time is coming when everything that is covered up will be revealed, and all that is secret will be made known to all. Whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be shouted from the housetops for all to hear!" Luke 12:2-3 NLT
How to Connect With Customers and Increase Sales: https://www.entreleadership.com/blog/connect-customers-increase-sales
Also, we talked about Colossians 3:15-17 at the end to encourage you in your journey to seek peace, be thankful, and to do it all for God's glory: "Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. ... And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."
It's just an awesome scripture that really pumps me up and I pray it encourages you!
Also, the book we talked about (which is a Kathryn Daniel recommendation is) called, "Who Moved My Cheese? : An A-Mazing Way to Deal with Change in Your Work and in Your Life." Be a Light with Sunny Lawrence from "Iron Cowboy"
Tuesday Oct 13, 2020
Tuesday Oct 13, 2020
Y'all are going to LOVE Sunny Lawrence! She's one of those women you meet and instantly want to be best friends with. She is fun, happy, chill, and a go-getter.
When preparing for this interview, the first Bible verse that came to mind was Proverbs 17:22 which says, "A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones."
This conversation was medicine to my bones! This one is for the mommas who are praying for peace from Jesus in this season.
This podcast is also for the woman who is looking to bring more encouragement to her spouse with his goals and dreams.
My sister Sunny is WISE in that she has been there for her husband James when he wanted to go on a wild and challenging adventure across the nation to do 50 Ironmans in 50 states in 50 days. She didn't say yes let's do this now when James presented the idea... She said to wait first and then at the right time, they'd go all in. And they did. I love how she describes their conversation before they went on this wild adventure across the nation and then how they moved forward to accomplish a challenging goal together... with their five children! I told you she's awesome! Love this chick and yall will too.
Be encouraged by my sister in Christ, Sunny Lawrence!

Terri Merrick is the Executive Director and Founder of the Pensacola Dream Center. Terri tells us it was after a mission trip to India that God put it in her heart to be on mission right where God had planted her, in Pensacola. Now she runs a mission that is doing weekly service to people who need it. Her mission, through God's guidance and help, provides food for the hungry, mentoring for those who struggle with addiction or who have been a victim of human trafficking and so much more. I love Terri. She isn't affiliated with any local church. She is all about unity. She is about JESUS and His Word. Terri serves the Lord. Be encouraged by Terri's chat and then at the end of this podcast I share some encouragement from Tim Tebow's book called, "Through My Eyes."
Terri shares Hebrews 10:34-39 which says:
34 You suffered along with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions. 35 So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.
36 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. 37 For,
“In just a little while, he who is coming will come and will not delay.”[f]
38 And,
“But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.”
39 But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved.

Talking to People About Jesus with Rodney P. Bensley, M.D.
Tuesday Sep 15, 2020
Tuesday Sep 15, 2020
Dr. Rodney Bensley works in Murfreesboro, Tennessee as a vascular surgeon. He tells us recently the Lord put it on his hear to start talking to patients about their faith when it was appropriate. He tells us he has led one of his patients to Christ days before he passed away. Thank God for doctors like Dr. Bensley. Please keep him and his team in your prayers in this season of COVID-19.
Dr. Bensley says he and his family are leaning on Psalm 91 a lot in this season and they especially love, Psalm 91:7 which says -- "A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you." He says he is praying this scripture over his family and believing God will take care of his family.
Thank you, Dr. Bensley, for your time and for sharing what God has on your heart!

Helping Adoptions Happen with Milkglass Candle Co.
Tuesday Sep 08, 2020
Tuesday Sep 08, 2020
Katie and Luis Zamot have started a new business, making candles. Their company is called Milkglass Candle Co. The reason why they started this candle company with their three kids was to help out other families financially while they go through the adoption process.
Katie and Luis have two children of their own and they adopted their youngest son, Shepard about a year ago. The couple says God has led them to help others financially who have it on their hearts to adopt as well. Their story of adoption was painful and joyful... It was expensive and it didn't turn out as they had originally planned but as they say in this podcast, "Everything was right." Katie says they would walk through it all again because of how God has walked with them through it and made what was not good on paper, good for them. That is God.
I am thankful for this couple, for their business and for sharing their story. Please show them some love on their Instagram! xoxo

BROADCAST HIS LOVE
You made it! We're thankful you’re here and we pray this podcast draws you closer to Jesus.
The purpose of this podcast is to encourage you to use your position, no matter what it is, to broadcast God's love.
We pray at the beginning and at the end of each conversation for us to decrease and for God to increase in our lives. This prayer comes from John 3:30.
“He must increase, but I must decrease.” John 3:30 ESV
This podcast started in January of 2020, before the pandemic.
Thank you for listening!
